Copper wires are one of the most widely used copper products, which are used in electrical and electronic industries as the raw material of wire and cable industries.

production technology
The following copper wires are produced by continuous casting and rolling with Italian machinery in accordance with ASTM and EN standards from LME grade copper cathodes.

Cu-ETP copper wire

Refining copper wire Cu-FRHC

Oxygen-free copper wire Cu-OF

Cu-OFS oxygen-free copper wire

Production Process
Ingot production operation during hot rolling process and production of copper wire from copper cathode in Continuus-Properzi CCR technology takes place in the following six steps.

Melt production from copper cathode

The copper melt is created in the Melting Furnace and guided by the launder for the production process.

Adjusting the melt flow rate

The volume of the melt used for the rolling operation is controlled by using the tundish operation.

Hot rolled

HOT ROLLING turns copper ingots into wire with the diameter required by the customer.

Temperature and oxygen control

By using Holding Furnace, the temperature and dissolved oxygen are controlled homogeneously.

Creating ingots by casting copper

Using the CASTING WHEEL, the produced melt is turned into copper ingots.

packing

In the coiling process, the product is packed in a coil on a pallet with the weight required by the customer.
